October brings Tangier at its most golden. The heat softens, the city quiets, and the light is extraordinary. In Residence Tangier: An Autumn Week in Tangier is a five-night retreat set in a private seaview villa, created for a small group of guests seeking a deeper encounter with one of the Mediterranean's most singular cities.
Guests arrive to private transfers and a candlelit welcome dinner with live music, setting the tone for a week shaped around beauty, culture, and coastal pleasure. Days move between guided walks through the historic medina, private artisan visits, intimate cooking and perfume experiences, guest speaker moments, and long lunches at the city's most iconic addresses.
The week extends to the polo grounds, a scenic coastal hike, a private gallery cocktail gathering, and a full day by the sea. One afternoon takes guests inland to experience the harvest season, visiting a local farm or olive grove as the countryside settles into autumn.
Another day is given to Asilah, the whitewashed coastal town 45 minutes south, known for its gallery scene, painted medina walls, and unhurried charm. The week closes with a celebratory final evening, as considered as the arrival.
